When your love came and healed my broken heart

You lifted me up, gave salve to each bruise,

The promise of granting a brand new start.

I was flat on my face, how could I refuse?

Heart to heart you said you’d never depart

And I wonder what in me made you choose

To hold me so tightly, to embrace me;

It leaves me in wonder times I am in doubt.

Your gentle grace speaks in ways that astound
